Our first night here he treated us to CityPlace which is an area downtown filled with shops, places to eat, fountains, brick walkways, and entertainment. Be sure to click the link to check it out.
We ate at an Italian restaurant on the patio filled with night life, lights and the sweet scent of Spring coming. Ahh to sit outside in March for us is divine.
The next day we made our way to Wakodahatchee Wetlands. The boardwalk is three miles long stretching out and winding its way through marsh and bogs full of wetland birds. Several were nesting and had babies. The little islands were close which allowed for some great photography opportunities. I know there will be some paintings coming out of some of these photos. Click the link for more info on this wetland. Because there were so many good photos I decided to do the slide show below. Enjoy!
Tomorrow I leave for home and will catch up with you there and will chat about the rest of the trip.
Toni, your pictures are spectacular, the baby herons are my favorite though. Looks like a wonderful trip.

ReplyDeleteThank you PJ. this was my first time in Florida. I was amazed.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your trip. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors when it is still cold and gloomy at home.
ReplyDeleteAt work, I was daydreaming about what I would do if I could go anywhere and do anything for 3 hours today. I decided I would have spent those 3 hours sitting outside at a cafe on the Cote d'Azur watching the Mediterranean.
